Chopper Twirls Wildly into Palm Groves at Frequented California Shoreline
An aircraft flying above a well-attended coastal shoreline unexpectedly started spinning out of control, eventually losing altitude and smashing into a cluster of palm trees as onlookers observed.
Footage posted online capture the helicopter commencing to spiral near the beach then plunging in the direction of the perimeter of the coast, where it gets stuck amidst palm groves and a staircase close to the Pacific Coast highway.
First Aid Information
Local firefighters said five people were rushed to the hospital comprising a pair who were in the chopper and were “rescued from the debris” subsequent to the crash on Saturday.
Three people on the road were harmed. Details on their wounds were not yet released.
The reason for the accident was not yet disclosed.
