Football Star Aaron Ramsey Boosts Bounty for Lost Canine in Mexico to Fifteen Thousand Pounds
Welsh football star Ramsey has increased the reward for information concerning the missing dog named Halo to $$20k.
Ex- Arsenal and Cardiff midfielder, who now represents Pumas UNAM in Mexico City, stated that the beagle was observed in San Miguel de Allende, located in the Guanajuato state zone.
Halo, who vanished on October 9th, was wearing a dog tracker collar, and Ramsey posted a map pinpoint of where she was last seen.
"Any sort of news about our beloved Halo kindly contact us. Significant reward for finding her. We are all praying she's ok and will return with us soon," Ramsey shared on Instagram.
Earlier Offer and Emotional Appeals
Ramsey first revealed that his dog had vanished 14 days prior and has since posted numerous pictures of the beloved dog on his social media account.
A seven thousand five hundred pound bounty was initially offered, but with lack of updates on Halo's status after a seven days, Ramsey and his loved ones increased the reward.
"All we desire is Halo back," he stated in a further appeal on his online platforms after the elderly dog was lost.
The most recent picture post is a monochrome image of Halo napping, its head resting in the crook of Ramsey's arm, with the description: "How I wish to hold you one last time sweet Halo."
Household's Anxieties and Context
The footballer has also posted a message from his wife Colleen on social media mentioning they have some "serious questions" about the disappearance and worry the household "could possibly not obtain clarity".
"To this day we have not located our dog. I don't think we ever will," the spouse's message stated.
The Welsh leader signed with Mexico's first division team Pumas UNAM recently and made his inaugural match in the Mexican league in August.
The Caerphilly-born player is the initial prominent British athlete to participate in the Liga MX.
